When your mum is about to throw out your dad’s old shirt and you feel a bit nostalgic, there’s only one thing to do.. take it home and upcycle it in your atelier (or any other place that it is you use to work)! As a shirt it was indeed a bit of a no go or at least out dated, as you can see on the photo below..
Can you imagine how surprised my dad was when he saw what I made of his shirt? He had no idea that it was gone, but he did recognize the fabric when I showed him. Looks much nicer as a playsuit right?
Oh those palmtrees and sandy white beaches..
